Accessibility Statement

We have always taken a lot of time and effort to ensure accessibility is at the fore of what we do.

We have a diverse committee which has helped shape our accessibility plans. Some of the things we have put in place include ensuring that all venues have flat access from the street or lift access.

We will have a Quiet Space at the event which will be manned by local mental health charities. This space will be available all day during the event.

We will have accessibility logos in our programme which include information regarding noise levels at each event, crowd levels and wheelchair access for each activity.

For the March, we have picked a route that is majority flat with only 1 slight incline at the end of the march at Corn Exchange Road. We will have an alternative route via Dumbarton Road and Port Street, to avoid this for those who cannot manage the incline.

We do have some events at the Top of the Town nearer to and including the Castle, which we realise might be a little tricky for folk however we’ve ensured those who can drive are able to still access this area by car and the P2 Park & Ride bus will also be in operation to go up to this area. It will mostly be family activities during the day with a gig and after party in the evening in that area.

The event will be free of charge which we hope takes away any accessibility issues regarding cost.

If there is anything specific that you would want to see please let us know.
