Callander Cabaret will see several incredible artists take to the stage for an evening of music and entertainment.
Jazz singer Marianne McGregor will be joined by harpist Heather Downie, Fintry raised Venn Smyth and Daiquiri Dusk hula-hooping to open the event!
Marianne McGregor is a prominent new voice in the Scottish Jazz Scene. Highly acclaimed ‘Best Vocalist’ at the Scottish Jazz Awards 2021, McGregor continues to gain recognition for her powerful voice, improvising and original songs.
Heather Downie is a Dunblane based harpist who is the Principal Scottish Harp Tutor at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. She has recently returned from a tour in New Zealand and Australia and tours extensively showcasing her wonderful talent.
Venn Smyth writes songs that dance around subjects important to him. These include identity, equality, mental health and finding your voice. His brand of queer pop blends synth, sax, ballads and bops, and has earned its place at No.1 on the LGBTQ Music Chart more than once.
Daiquiri Dusk is credited as being one of the key figures in the 21st century neo-burlesque revival in Scotland, Daiquiri Dusk has been treading the boards of cabaret stages for almost two decades, across the UK, Europe and the USA.
The evening will end with a chance to dance with a ceilidh band bringing the evening to a close!
This event is part of the Stirling Pride Rural Tour which is funded by the Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund administered by SVE and CTSI.
General Admission Tickets are £5 with a Concession rate of £3.50 available for those who are economically disadvantaged.
