The fantastic Ceilidh Minogue will raise the roof for our St. Andrews Ceilidh at Thornhill Community Hall!
Ceilidh Minogue are one of Scotland’s best known Ceilidh bands having been together for over 20 years! They were also a staple of BBC Radio Scotland’s Hogmanay programming for 8 years.
Kirsty Law is a folk singer. With every project she undertakes she challenges and explores what this means, engaging both with the ancient and vibrant material of the tradition and with the modern day and all it has to offer and present.
In her work she feels a responsibility to join the dots - between old and new, the personal and the political, the supernatural and the real, the ‘normal’ and the ‘other - in order to tell pertinent stories.
The event is open to all over 18 years old and a bar will be provided by the Thornhill Community Hall Committee.
This event forms part of our Stirling Pride Rural Tour which has been funded by the Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund administered by SVE and CTSI.
