FAQs

Who Can Come to Stirling Pride?

Stirling Pride is open to everyone LGBTQ+ or an ally. The event is open to all ages however we do ask that anyone under 16 comes along with an adult over 18 years old. The only exception to this is the After Party which is purely for over 18s.

What Does It Cost?

Stirling Pride is completely free of charge. Donations are welcome however, and any donations received will go straight to organising future Pride events.

Who Are Stirling Pride?

Stirling Pride is a SCIO that has three volunteer Trustees and a group of around 20 Members who run the event each year.

Where Are The Toilets?

Toilets are available at all of our venues including the Albert Halls, Golden Lion Hotel and Holy Trinity Church Hall. Additional toilet facilities are available at the Thistles Shopping Centre and The Smith Art Gallery & Museum which are both on the March route or near the Main Stage.

Where Can I Get A Drink or A Bite To Eat?

Stirling Pride does not bring in food and drink stalls as the event is surrounded by brilliant cafes, restaurants and bars. Two of our venues, The Albert Halls and Golden Lion Hotel will have their cafe bars open for anyone needing a bite to eat or a drink. These will be open all afternoon for you to enjoy.

How Do I Get To Stirling Pride?

Stirling Pride takes place in Stirling City Centre. Stirling Train Station and Bus Station is around a 5minute walk from the Main Stage. We expect the event to be very busy so we encourage attendees to come by public transport or active travel wherever possible. If you have to come by car, there is disabled parking available on street nearby, with public car parks at Wellgreen, Dalgleish Court and the Thistles Shopping Centre.

If You Feel Unwell What Do I Do?

Safebase are our medical team on the day of Pride. If you start to feel unwell please let one of our volunteers know and they will ensure you receive the help you need. All volunteers on the day will be wearing pink hi-vis vests with the Stirling Pride logo on it.
